Good Morning Simple Lifers,
Enjoyed our meeting last night. I think it was informative, well attended, and participation was fantastic...Go ahead, pat yourself on the back! Now the work begins! I have already heard a couple of people today say "well, nothing's going to be simple about my life today." Just remember this, the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time! You can indeed eat an elephant...it just may take you some time to do it. Our lives did not get complicated overnight and the fix is not going to come overnight either. Small steps...positive CHANGES...determination...perseverance...these are the things which lead to success. And above all, I want us to be successful in our 42 day journey, so that we can come out of this study happier, healthier, and wiser...giving God all the glory and praise for the changes His Holy Spirit has made in our lives.

I am excited about the simple life because I am still a baby christian. I know the only way I am going to get to know my heavenly father more personaly is to learn how to make the time and not rush threw my bible study and prayer or learn to enjoy the time I do have in Gods word in sted of setting there thinking I have so much to do. Im looking forward to bill learning with me. its together we grow in God thats really exciting for me.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the start of the study. Michael and I are so excited to be in a group with Wes and Mandy Smith and Nina and Eva Lee! We are looking forward to the study - especially studing with my husband!
