Day 5 of 42

Good Morning Simple Lifers,

Yes I know...I didn't post on day 4.  I SIMPLY either forgot or didn't have time...I've forgotten which!!!  When we look at the scriptures on the life of Christ isn't it amazing how MUCH time He spent in ministry and relationship building...compared to how LITTLE time we spend. I find it ironic that the very things I have heard people say (and have said myself) are the most precious things in their lives are their relationships with their family and the Lord. Yet these are the very things we neglect as soon as "busyness" comes around! I thank God for each one of you and I hope that in this study maybe we can find time to "love one another" a little bit more!

Day 3 of 42

Good Morning Simple Lifers,

If your Monday was anything like mine, you spent some time chuckling at the concept of a "Simple Life"...
But, just the knowledge that a Simplified Lifestyle was not only available but also attainable made a difference in my attitude...an old axiom I learned in Flight School really applies here..."It's your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude." Yes we are still going to have some complicated days.  But you will be amazed at how much better you will handle them when you SIMPLY see them for what they are...A challenge to be overcome, instead of a way of life...

Matthew 21:21 (NLT) 21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.

Remember those mountains are ANYTHING that stands in between us and God!!! They can be moved!
Have a great simple day,
Bro. Ron

Day 2 of 42

Good Morning Simple Lifers,

Enjoyed our meeting last night. I think it was informative, well attended, and participation was fantastic...Go ahead, pat yourself on the back! Now the work begins!  I have already heard a couple of people today say "well, nothing's going to be simple about my life today." Just remember this, the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time!  You can indeed eat an elephant...it just may take you some time to do it.  Our lives did not get complicated overnight and the fix is not going to come overnight either.  Small steps...positive CHANGES...determination...perseverance...these are the things which lead to success. And above all, I want us to be successful in our 42 day journey, so that we can come out of this study happier, healthier, and wiser...giving God all the glory and praise for the changes His Holy Spirit has made in our lives.

Have a Healthy, Happy, Simple Day!!!

The Quest For The Simple Life Has Begun!!!

Good Evening Simple Lifers...

May God truly bless your efforts as we begin a study designed to teach you how to simplify your lives and have more time to spend in loving relationships with both your families and your Heavenly Father. But remember this Simple Truth...You'll only get out of this study what you put into it...I know there will be times when you think...I'm just too tired to do this tonight...but let me encourage you now to persevere.  You may grow more in the Lord in the next 42 days than you ever have. Question for the day...(please respond in the comments section)  What do you hope to accomplish in Simple Life???
